Welcome to Balsiddha Campus, probably the first free campus of Nepal.

About Campus

Balsiddha Campus located at Waling -7, Keware Bhanjung Syangja was founded in the year 2065 B.S is a purely community-based campus run and flourished by the collaborative efforts of its management committee, teachers, students, guardians and the whole community itself.

This campus is, in fact, a fruitful aftermath of the leading educationists, professionals and social workers and locals particularly from the southern belt of the waling Municipality. Being a truly community-based campus, it has its aim to impart quality education at free of cost targeting the remote part of the region to pursue their higher education mainly 4th year bachelor in education under Tribhuwan University, Nepal. In its more than a decade-long history, the campus has already earned its popularity as truly a free campus. The campus has a team of highly dedicated and well-qualified teaching staff with a proven experience and degrees from various universities.
The students and beneficiaries of this campus are particularly from the rural areas and hinterlands of the Syangja district and the whole nation itself. The campus is, in fact, a microcosm of the whole nation for its students belong to many different social and cultural background and economic strata. The campus provides a very congenial atmosphere of teaching and learning representing various under-privileged and disadvantaged groups.
The campus has been running in the school premises in the morning shift. It also has its building in the school compound. As a purely community-based campus, we have been trying our best to impart high quality education as per the needs of the present-day competitive world.
The major and immediate stakeholders of the campus are its students, teachers, management committee and the whole local society at large. Their participation is also generally satisfactory with room for widening their scope of participation.
The Campus has a 9 members management committee with a chairman, 6 members, 1 teachers’ representative, and the campus chief as a member secretary as per UGC guidelines.
The campus has the future plan to design and implement technical and practical courses to enhance academic excellence and acquire autonomy, to create a very congenial atmosphere for teaching-learning and research to produce academically competent scholars for advanced studies and to increase active participation of its stakeholders and to generate new income source by developing relations with various donor and grant agencies.
To run the campus, the campus chief himself functions as the executive head of administration.
