Shree Balsiddha Secondary School was established in 2032 BS as a public academic institution located at the southern part of Waling municipality ward no 7, Keware Bhanjyang Syangja district, Gandaki province of Nepal. The school offers the co-educational education from Early Childhood Development (ECD)/Nursery to secondary level (grade 12 education and management steams) in both English and Nepali Medium with the provision of Nursery, LKG and UKG in pre-primary section.
Balsiddha school spreads over four Ropanis of land with 5 modern building and has 58 rooms. It has its own state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-equipped science lab, computer/ICT lab with smart board and internet connectivity along with power backup, library with teaching and learning resources and transportation facilities.
There are more than five hundred students studying from ECD to grade 12 and 36 teaching and non-teaching staffs in our core team. Apart from regular curricular activities, the school also periodically organizes Extra-curricular Activities (ECA), Sports, dance/music, conference, excursion /educational tours etc.
The activities and programs we offer to our students and implement within the school to develop academic excellence, social awareness and life skills in line with the curricula developed by Curriculum Development Centre (CDC), Nepal and the local curriculum prepared by local government
Shree Balsiddha offers the facilities and programs under the following headings.
At present, the students of Tapke, Barikuna, Sapaude, and its surrounding are enjoying the bus facilities.
The school has two separate labs for practical classes, E-learning, research-based learning, and innovations equipped with smart boards, projectors, and internet connectivity.
Students get a first-hand learning experiences through various experiment on their own at Balsiddha to enhance learning by doing.
Students can engage in various humanitarian activities through Youth Red Cross Campion for the welfare of the society. Balsiddha Child club sets up to represent all students in the activities organized by the school.
Balsiddha ex-students forum unites school/campus graduates to enhance the image of the school by carrying out various innovative social activities and supporting the school.
We have the provision to practice songs/dances and play different musical instruments. The students can also participate on various programs, celebrations, shows and musical events.
The school is equipped with its own two learning resources/library rooms including text books, reference materials, books, worksheets, flash cards, posters, arts and crafts materials.
The school engages its students on various indoor/outdoor games, field study trips and excursions periodically. The school also has separate playground for outdoor activities.
We have installed a big water treatment plant at school, which controls TDS with RO and UV technology/filters as per WHO standard.
Balsiddha adopts a continuous assessment that incorporates both summative and summative evaluation based on NEB and CDC guidelines. We administer CAS, class tests, monthly tests, terminal examinations and pre-board exams
We also have the provision of Nursey, LKG and UKG along with grade teaching, playing materials and audio-visual classes.
We provide basic medical services and first aid care in case of minor accident in our school.
Our classrooms are well ventilated, furnished with adequate furniture along with state-of-the art infrastructures.
We have almost all the teachers who have received official recognition of their qualification and training. They are both ICT and learner friendly.
